Just spoke to my dealer to enquire expected delivery etc, informed me Peugeot latest info showing July build, expected delivery to dealer mid / late August
Ordered 18th Jan GT pearl white with couple of options
Looking like I will delay collection to 1st Sept for new registration
Be interesting to see what anyone else gets told ?

According to other threads, Lowney you ordered on the 15th March which ties in right for a July build but Michaelss you apparently ordered in January which just doesn't make any sense as others including myself who ordered between you both are getting told their cars will be built in May. I think one of you is getting told some mistruth and if I was you Michael I would have cancelled my order as 8 months for any everyday car is just ridiculous.

I have a build date for my GT ordered in January but not wishing to tempt providence I shall be keeping it to myself until the build is confirmed. Rest assured I am hopeful of making an announcement in the not too distant future.

What date in January did you order?
13th January, a couple of days after the launch at my dealership. Originally told anticipated delivery end of March which would have synchronised brilliantly with end of PCP term on my old car. Unfortunately that wasn't to be!

My order went through on 20th January. My dealer doesn't have any dates to give to me. Initially he said the car would be here last week in March or first week of April.

you would usually get a build date 2-3 weeks before production. I was told i will have a build date mid april for may.

I think if you have not heard anything yet your build will be at least may.

My best guess, parts for GT are coming may and they will speed through a lot of GT models to try and catch up a little

Dear Michaelss, just wanted to assure you that I have also been advised, that I should order my 3008 GT now, as the build date is now July, the dealership also suggested that it would be better to get the build listed early, as the factory is on holiday in August!!!! Sorry to hear that you have waited so long, I am looking at 1st September delivery.......Order is on Ultimate Red with a couple of options.

Sounds like BS to me, surely a factory as big as Sochaux doesn't shut down for holidays?!

The whole of August I was told. I know Fords at Dagenham used to do the same, so perhaps others do too. Maybe the backlog of orders on the 3008 and 5008 will prompt them to keep it open though.
Pretty standard throughout La Belle France!

I doubt whether the workers at Sochaux will give up a life long tradition just to make a few extra cars!

Its the same in Spain most if not all manufacturing plants shut down for August. Probably originally done because of the heat of summer productivity went down so much it was worth it for company's to do this.

Hi Michael, Just read your post again and it doesn't make sense that your GT is due for a July build. You ordered a week after me and if you've seen my post on a different thread you will have seen that mine has apparently been built and is in transit. I was initially told an unconfirmed date in April, then a confirmed date in April so this means it has been built earlier than programmed. All things being equal and in an ideal world your car should be built before the end of April at least.

No idea

Hi
I have no idea why, but both broker and Peugeot have confirmed July build as thats when they are starting the GT build ???
Im hoping to have it delivered to my home address by transporter on 1st Sep fingers crossed. If it was brought forward I will accept but if going to be anytime in August I will wait the few extra days / weeks
Plus by then hopefully other GT owners will be posting their reviews good or bad and worst case I can cancel or sell on at a profit from discounted price
lol !!!
