But the version 17.0.0 should be released soon. All other TomTom maps for the NAC Wave 2 are already on version 17.0.0.

I can use the same key file as the firmware update?

You don't need the license key to update maps, those are only for firmware updates.
And you need a unique license for each firmware version.

Can I switch to europe map by installing a new update of PSA_map-eur also without key file?

i have searched on the 508 discussions and couldnt find details.
i beleive my system is wave3.

Hi!
I have Wave 2 with the latest firmware (January 2020) but impossible to install latests African maps. I am stuck with the 12.0.0 verison. I tried with 18.0.0, 15.0.0 and 13.0.0. I got the error message 'Incompatible hardware' !!

'Incompatible hardware' only shows up when someone with a NON-NAC Wave 2 device is present are you not sure its a Wave 3 machine

Yes, it is NAC Wave 2 with firmware 21.08.25.12
