Just about to put in an order for the GT Line but can't decide on auto or manual, have been told that EAT6 is so good it's close to manual for MPG performance.
Anyone had experience of the diesel EAT6 1.6 and what's the MPG like?

Average fuel economy for requires a detailed analysis of when, where and how you drive.

If you haven't experienced the 130ps 1.2 you will be amazed at it's diesel like torque and economy with sweet power delivery.

Unless you tow a lot the diesel is dead when it comes to a rational calculation of real world costs......unless diesel fuel is significantly cheaper that is.

We get 21km/L regularly now ~60mpg (in our 308 6A) , so 50 in the 3008 6A should be achievable if driven intelligently.

(If the 1.6 was as good I'd consider it)

On last weekends run, the 3008SUV 1.6 BlueHDi 120 EAT6 was high 40s around town, then high 60s+ on the motorway from the quick check I did - which seems to align with Peugeot's real world figures. With two people on board.

Compared to my old Mk2 ford focus 1.8 TDCI ('06) manual which did 47-52mpg on motorways.
