Hi,

I have recently purchased a used 2015 BlueHDi 3008 which has now encountered an issue with a Parking Assist System Faulty message. The sensors don't beep when parking. It was working OK up until last weekend.

When the ignition is on (but not started) the button on the dashboard will switch off and on (lights up) - however, as soon as the car starts the message appears and the button stops working.

Has anyone had anything like this before? Is there a simple solution to try - i.e. would trying to reset the BSI worth doing?

Also, where in the car is the PDU module held?

Cheers

Did anything specific happen last weekend? For example, a small shunt while parking, car washed etc?

Ideally you'd need to get the codes read to check which, if any, sensor is failing.

Hi drdino,

No nothing untoward... weather wasn't great - maybe something related to the rain?
