ive got a 2001 1.6 307 glx petrol, Ive had it since december.

i can only seem to get on average 24MPG. Ive had it serviced and still no joy. is this a typical MPG for this model?.........if so i think i have to sell it already.

The advertised urban mpg for a 1.6 glx is 29 to the gallon. I'd always take at least 5mpg off the official figures to get a more accurate figure. Sorry to say it, but it looks like it's time to sell. I had a 1.6 megane and got around 23 mpg and sold it two weeks later. Get a diesel!!

My 51 plate 1.6lx auto drinks alot of petrol, shame as i just bought it 2 weeks ago.
I put £40 in i get around 200 miles.

I get around 200 miles for £25 (40 mpg) around town, small runs to work & back (around 6 miles a trip) on the motorway
i'd expect to get 250 ish. :letsprty:

i'd be on valium if I had to stick £40 to do 200 miles. :kickbutt:

I'm about the same at around £30 - £35 for 300 miles on the A14 every week :thumb: (depending on my driving mood as it were)

mileage on 2001 306

Hi all.

My 306 1.4 petrol returns on average 23/25 MPG. It's amazing that since 2001mileage performance on better/later Peugeot cars than mine have not increased (maybe) at all.
