Noticed the rubber protector was damaged on offside lower ball joint. Called local Peugeot dealer and picked up a new ball joint today. Went to fit it this evening and the old damaged one is held on the end of the wishbone not by nuts and bolts but instead by three heavy duty rivets/pins that have rounded smooth heads both sides of the piece/ball joint. I noticed on ebay wishbones are sold complete with ball joint attached. Is this my only option or is there a special tool to remove the rivets/pins and then replace with high tensile nuts and bolts?
Many thanks
Ed

Original arms are riveted you need to grind the heads down and drill out to fit new one or do as you say and buy a whole arm

You drill the rivets and replace with HT bolts w/locknuts. Will be easier to remove the arm than to do in situ.
