My brother-in -law has a 2010 207 SW sport 1.6 HDi. The coolant level light has started to flash but the level in the header tank is fine and the car isn't overheating. We thought that it would be a faulty level sender but there isn't a sender attached to the header tank (not one that we could find, anyway). Is there a sender and if so, where is it located? If there is no sender, what turns the light on? I know that my 308 SW Access doesn't have a sender that I can see so I'm at a loss to know how the system works.
Any help would be very gratefully received.
Thanks,
Ian
