I have a Peugeot 207, 1.4 diesel 2009.
I have a constant issue as of late and I could really use some help.

I keep having the ABS, Handbreak, power steering and STOP light coming on constantly. At first around 2-3 months ago they would come on and then go off 5 minutes after driving but now they stay on. However whenever I take my foot off the accelerator e.g stopping at traffic lights, all the lights go off on the dash until I put my foot back down on the accelerator.
Every now and then I get the battery light come on also and the fault “electric circuit faulty”.

I have changed the battery, no luck.
Used a diagnostic machine and no codes appear.
I have disconnected the battery and checked the earths by the wiring loom and they are all fine.

any ideas? I have my MOT next month.
even though these lights are on everything still works apart from a slight loss in power steering and my Speedo stops working.

I would check the battery voltage first to make sure its being charged when the engine is running and the alternator belt is in good order

If it has the ABS pump low down on the engine like the petrol, try unplugging the loom it and give the plug/socket a good spray.

What "diagnostic machine" did you use?

We only recommend Planet and Diagbox
