So I have recently purchased a 207 SW 1.6 hdi as a project with a few known issues.

One of my main issues is that the rear lefthand core plug has a pin hole in it and squirts out even with the engine off.

So far I've removed - rear+left engine mounts, airbox, egr pipework and injector wiring..

Has anyone else been able to fix this without removing the engine?

Also.. what is the name of the metal box on the rear left which has pipework going into it?

Thanks 👍

Anybody wanting to avoid garage costs and change the left hand core plug themselves with the engine in place, prepare to remove a few things first.

Engine mounts
Airbox
Egr
Injector pipes
Aux belt
Covers
Timing belt
Fuel pump pulley
And the fuel pump itself.

Such a pain because someones not used the correct antifreeze and the core plug rusted inside out 🤦🏻‍♂️
