Hi All
I have a 2007 207 GT bought it knowing that it had the depolution error on the dash and it had
P1385
P0087
P1336
P1340
P1338
P1536

So I decided to strip a bit of the car down at the weekend and have a look to see if there was anything obvious before starting a to go through finding the fault. I found this vacuum line which looks like it’s been cut through, however I have no idea where it goes, can anyone help with where this should go? It is one of the hoses that comes out the solenoid I know that much. Also any other help to the possible problem with the poor running of the car and lack of power?

the hose normally just lives around that location, should have a little filer on the end of it, its the breather pipe for the boost solenoid as you have noticed.

as for the codes..... what fuel are u using and what mileage is on the car?

lots of misfires in there and engine knock.

you more than likely be looking at high pressure fuel pump, coils, spark plugs, inlet valve cleaning, maybe a few of them, maybe more.

Thanks for your reply. It’s good news that this doesn’t lead anywhere I’ve been scratching my head for days as to where it could go!

The car is just on std unleaded I’m guessing it’s been on supermarket fuel most of its life. It’s done only 67,000 miles

My main suspicion for the problem was clogged inlet valves so guess I’ll be taking the inlet off this weekend to have a look at the state of the valves.

Is the hpfp located in the fuel tank on these?

really has to run on 99 RON fuel, they don't like standard stuff at all, but that could be causing the misfire and other issues too, unlikely but is a possibility.

with that mileage, would highly recommend doing the inlet valves via walnut blasting process to clean them.

hpfp is on the right hand side of the engine, runs off the inlet cam, silver block piece.
