Hi all new to the forum so go easy on me! haha
Heres my story.
Got an 02 plate 206 1.4hdi done just short of 150k and still going strong!
Till recently!
The oil warning light flashes and the STOP light.
It does it every so often and more so after a motorway run.
It will go off if you slightly rev the engine.
Ive checked the oil level and its fine and the symble on the dash disaply thats a kinda oil level gauge is well up.
Anyone else had this and what fixed it?
Is there an issue with oil pumps or switches on these models?
Cheers folks hope you can help me before i need to take it to a garaged to be fleeced!! hahaha

Change the oil pressure sensor £12 from dealer , is it thrown up oil pressure insufficient on main display (if you have one)?

Thanks for all the advise guys i am going to get the sensor and try that will let you all know the outcome.
No theres nothing on the main display at all just the red oil warning light flashes.
As i say its ok when driving just when you stop at lights ect.....
But it goes out with a very slight rev.sometimes it doesnt come on at all!!
Weird to be honest!
