Hi I got a instrument Cluster and it has the oil temp gauge on it. The original didn't have this, can someone tell me how to get this working? Not sure if it possible but have to ask.

Thanks I advance everyone.

Which engine do you have?

Some engines have the required combined oil level & temp sensor already fitted & just require the temp gauge activating in the BSI configuration.

Other engines require the original level sensor swopping out for the combined level & temp sensor before activating the temp gauge.

This is a mod I did on my TU3 powered 206 many years ago, its a simple upgrade mod but we need to know which engine you have before we can advise you further.

Do you have the VIN?

If its the standard TU5JP4 engine you would need to swop out the standard oil level sensor for a combined level & temp sensor THEN activate the temp sensor in the BSI configuration set up with Peugeot Planet.

Part number is 1131 G4 Oil temp & level probe £94.64 including the VAT.

The sensor probe is just screwed in to the engine block & has a sealing ring washer.
