hi people,
New to the peugeot just got fed up off my sti scooby blowing up on the track so decided to go down the 206 route as we ad one in garage, looking at puttin a 306 gti engine maybe in or a 2.0 ltr of some kind could anyone help with some information as to which is the way to go.. this is just a track car not a road car.

Obvious choice would be the GTi180 engine, straight swap and pretty much readily available from all the boy racers crashing them, but cost would be fairly high.
A GTi'6 engine would be better due to price, but would probably make more sense getting the 5 speed gearbox from the xsara VTS due to size restraints.

Might be a lot cheaper to sell the 206 as an eco run about, or straight swap it for a 306 GTi'6....better handling
