My light is on all the time but the car runs fine.

The brakes are slightly squeaky and there is a rattle underneath, though the exhust seems fine.

Anyone had similar? Also, does anyone know if Nationwide have the right equipment to check the light as i don't want to take it to a dealer!

Any reputable local garage or dealership should have the correct equipment, you can also purchase your own machine from around the £25 mark. Ive had this problem with many a car, and is usually down to the fact that it hasn't been reset after the last problem has been solved, and using the basic diagnostics kit it is easily re-set and turned off with a touch of a button, Regards Whistler
