I Have A 53 Plate Pug 206 Diesel. When i first got the car it was cutting out at junctions, the main pug dealer had it on a diagnosed test machine and claimed it was fixed by fitting a cam censor. Days after that the car was driving ok when it was running, but on starting the car it was found that the car would start but when i was putting my foot on the accelorator to rev the engine there was no response from the accelorater .. like it was dead nothing there atall. The car then went back to a diesel specialist they could not find the problem the garage that i had got the car from as it was still under warrinty fitted a new ecu unit and told me that was it fixed. But the problem is still there with the accelorator there is no response from the accelorator when it starts up, 75% of the time! what i am having to do is get the key out of the ignition and lock the car several times in order for the accelorator to start working, HAS ANYONE ELSE HAD THIS PROBLEM OR CAN SOMEONE HELP ME AS I HAVE HAD THE CAR FOR ONE MONTH AND REALLY THE GARAGE HAS HAD IT FOR 3 WEEKS OF THIS MONTH.
