Hi,
I broke down at the weekend, my clutch pedal just clicked and did nothing.

I was told by the garage it was the linkage came off the pedal connection. The garage advised me to get the linkage replaced as has a lot of play in it to prevent the cable coming off again.

Question is, what part do I need?
Clutch cable?
Or some sort of pedal connector to connect the clutch cable to?

Any help very welcome.

Thanks

Go to your local aftermarket car part supplier, give them your cars registration and ask for a clutch cable, it will come with all the connections you need on the cable, then it just needs fitted and adjusting, then you should be on your way again, obviously double check its all working correctly when it's fitted and does not cause the same failure again if something is out of alignment or chafing etc, good luck

Great thanks, some reason with him saying it had a lot of play in it and a lot of connections in that area so need a new one I thought he meant the peddle area had something that needed replacing rather than a cable.
