Dry off all that fuel from the top of the injectors and leak off ppes. then see if it returns.

I had a similar problem on my 2015 model, and that was back in 2017 when it was still under warranty. Took it to Peugeot dealer and they insisted I pay them £250 to "investigate" I might get the money back if they decided it was a warranty issue. And mine had pools of fuel.
I sorted it myself, I found a pipe from the fuel filter was very clost to the head and I managed to get a shaped bit of plastic (gutter shaped) pushed down behind it to shield it. It's not shown in your pictures, just off to the left, but it was wrapped in black foam sheet. Head is dry now and has been since I did that.

Thanks for your reply Brilec. So you think the pipe with foam around it is leaking?

That seemed to be my problem as it hasn't been a problem since.
