Got a 308 with the warning additive low. I refilled the tank then took to mechanic to reset counter. The diagnostic computer wouldn’t reset counter as it said the fuel additive level was too high. Anyone seen this before and know what the issue would be? Thanks in advance

I think he is miss reading the error it will be level of additive in filter is too high. Its logging that the DPF needs replacing, cleaning or sometimes you can just say DPF has been replaced and do nothing to it

Quite common for this error to occur at the same time as low additive

I had a dpf error so I had a guy program the system to say it had a new dpf filter ( it didn't), then programmed the system to say dpf fluid had been refilled ( it hadn't), then filled the dpf fluid 2 weeks later with only 1 litre.
