I know this has been covered before,i went to remove the rear offside wheel,on doing so i noticed two of the four pins on the adaptor were missing.this was due to a well known tyre supplier using an air gun to do tighten the bolts, including the security bolts.i had no proof they caused the damage to the adaptor,i did however pop in & told them about it,they weren't having any of it,i then went to my local Peugeot dealer & ordered a new adaptor at the COST of £59.04,i managed to get 3 of the 4 bolts out,the one that wouldn't budge i tapped a 16mm socket on it & low & behold the part the socket was on snapped off !!!!! after a lot of attempting to get it out,it was a case of going to a garage, they got the bolt out for £30.i've replaced the security bolts with standard bolts.i'm thinking of getting a set of aftermarket security bolts.
