Hi to all,
newbie to this forum and all things Peugeot, so may be asking a bit advice from time to time, from those a bit more experienced with these cars.
Have owned the 308 about 5 months with just over 60k on the clock, a few issues have become noticeable, the Cat rattles after warm up, and was told to "best just ignore it" when I took it back to the Trader to actually have a front coil spring replaced under warranty. He did point out the Cat wasn't covered.
since then there have been worsening performance issues, lack of power and throttle response mainly in the lower rev ranges. although there are no fault codes showing at all which I would have expected.
So is a new Cat is needed?
Does anyone know if the cheaper ones are any good or If they should be avoided ?(limited budget)
and is there is anything to be aware of before replacing it as I will be doing it myself.
Thanks
