Just to put my mind at rest - I have just bought a 2-tronic 1.6 at 31,000 miles. Looks and drives like new and very pleased with the Tardis space inside.

Normal driving on the road - changes are smooth and no slip.

Colour this with the fact that all my other cars are torque converter automatics - but I find gentle manouevring to be rather jerky. It is not always easy to find the bite point of the clutch so parking in a confined space is not always easy.

Is this normal, or could some part of the clutch mechanism benefit from lubrication or the hydraulics bleeding ?
