i havent seen much information about this unit.

the web says its an engine designed by peugeot and ford

are these engines any good. what are the weak points.

do they have an issue with sludge in the engine. or is the block based on the original 2.0 engine

is a solid flywheel avaliable for this model

is the particulate filter easily removed successfully

Its a peugeot engine used in mondeos but i do not believe there is any real ford input

They are reliable IF cared for and can do big miles

Block is essentialy the same as 8 valve engine pistons differ though

Flywheels is personal preference depends on driving style how often they give trouble

Particulate filter does not give issues if the car is properly cared for but you could remove and remap for no filter if you realy wanted to

On the 2.7 v6 engine i believe there is ford input hence its crap :)

is it the same as the tdci engine then?

what are they like for carbon buildup like the 1.6hdi.

what do you reckon will be the difference in mpg between a 2.0 90bhp and a 2.0 136bhp?

how often does the timing belt need to be done

any known weaknesses on the engine?

i see on servicebox theres an option for a 307 without particulate filter. are these available in the uk
