Hi all, I have a 307 136bhp which isn't running as it should, seems to take a while to start, when driving at a constant speed it has a noticeable hunting, and a general lack of power. Could it be the EGR, I have bought a blanking plate, just waiting for it to arrive.
I have a basic code reader which gave me the following codes when read: P1597, P1579, P1198, P1351, any guesses what this could be?
I thought it might be the lifter pump from the tank but then saw a priming bulb in the engine bay which I thought meant there was no lifting pump?
I haven't got Peugeot Planet, and might struggle to find anyone with Corona around.
Thanks in advance!

You have no lift pump.
If you have a faulty EGR then blanking it wont help as its electronic so the feedback sent back would be wrong.
Surging on these is often caused by turbo control system in particular vacuum and repeat sensor issues but if its hard to start could be a bad injector these cannot be tested using diagnostics needs a leakoff test.
