Hi so I happen to of broken down the other day, RAC tested the OBDII readings and showed Camshaft Position Sensor, ordered one and now its here but I have no idea where it is to change it??

I have 307 2.0 Petrol

Fault codes do NOT mean the part in question is actually faulty !

In your case timing slipping or bad wiring could be the real cause the sensor is on the rear camshaft near the end away from the belt goes in from the top

Yes this is true, I am hoping that it is the sensor because the Clutch was on its way out and just before the car broke down it sounded like the clutch went completely (loud screaching noise) and my biting point was almost at the floor! I need to fit the sensor to get the car to the garage to fit the clutch.
