Hi, I'm buying a 2.0 16v 206 and am looking to change the timing belt. At the moment I only have the Haynes manual and not the car.... The timing belt change looks straightforward compared to others I have done, but I'm a bit confused with what is mentioned with respect to realigning the timing belt pulley on the end of the crankshaft.

As far as I can see from the manual, I undo the four bolts that hold the aux drive belt pulley on to the crankshaft timing belt pulley. It appears with the outer pulley removed that I can take off the plastic timing belt covers and the belt without undoing the large central bolt that clamps the timing belt pulley to the end of the crankshaft. Assuming this is the case, would I need to realign the timing belt pulley to the crankshaft? Surely if all of the locking tools realign and I tighten the belt correctly then there should be no need to undo the central bolt and realign the timing belt pulley with respect to the crankshaft. Am I missing something?
