Hi there,

I've an old Peugeot 205 and a few days ago my key stuck in the lock and I had to pull it out with a caliper. The key was bend after that and I had to straighten it and grind it so it would fit into the co-driver lock. Trying it with my second key I could not insert the key into the damaged lock.

My plan now would be to remove the lock from the drivers side and switch it with the one on the co-drivers site, so I don't have to enter the car from the co-drivers side anymore... Cause it's an old car I don't think it wouldn't be worth it to buy new locks or so.

Can someone give me a hint if it is possible to switch the locks (are they symmetric?) and how I would do that?

Thank you in advance!

Ortega
