Interesting... one thing I can think of is they separated regions to ensure at least some form of adequate download speeds.

No, but have done many before. I’ve prepared the USB sticks and will be updating my 508 and my wife’s 208 later this morning. I’ll post when done. Someone else has already done it on forum and noticed no change.
