Hi, hope someone can help! Daughter has a 107 (2007) with genuine low mileage of around 20,000 which I also use. Usually runs really well with long or short journeys. Few weeks ago EML came on, garage we use for both our cars found P0141 downstream oxygen sensor heating open circuit lower code. Reset for me but after 2 starts/drives came on again. Garage Replaced bank 1 sensor 2 lambda sensor with an NGK one and EML not come back on. However car now vibrating a lot in idle and also acceleration feels weird, almost like slipping/not fully there plus smell of petrol. Daughter drove it today (without me mentioning it) and also said seems really vibrating not accelerating like normal. Now I know 107s arn't powerful lol but it would usually be nippy when pulling away etc and it's now lacking. Planning to take back to garage but before I do has anyone else had this/can give me any ideas e.g. Has changing sensor afffected mix/does idling need adjusting etc? Would like an idea so know what to expect re any work/costs. The garage is a small indi one but with good reputation and so I've no complaints over charges previously but forearmed etc. Many thanks

I'm only guessing but considering the only work done was replacing the sensor it would be fair to expect it is the sensor causing the new problems. It's not unheard of for new parts to be faulty on first use nor is it unreasonable to suspect the replacement might not be the correct sensor. It could be the sensor is returning readings outside of the expected results causing the ecu to adjust various things to compensate and get the required readings.
