Hiya , frustration or am im just missing something , i have 55plate 1007 sport , entering the drivers door i first have to turn key to the right to unlock deadlocks then the door opens automatically when button pressed , ok , after about 15 seconds once inside you hear the locks go on , ok , but if then i want to get out again it wont let me , i have to open the window and put the key in the lock to unlock the car again , if i open door before it deadlocks its fine but after that it it deadlocks itself , plzzzzzz tell me im missing something ,
Get in the car & switch the ignition ON before the door relocks itself.
Does the fault still happen?
There is built in safety logic for the deadlocking system, if the ignition is ON the deadlocks cannot arm / if there currently armed they will disarm when the ignition is switched ON.
Ahhhh yes it semed to work if i turn ignotion on straight away , i didnt here them deadlocking and door opened ? i hope it is this as cant be downing the window and using lock every time i wanna get out ???
sounds like the car is not recognising the door opening when you open it so maybe a faulty door switch
