I guess it may depend on the year but in my case (2005 307sw 1.6hdi) there's no need to remove the bumper in order to remove the radiator...

Remove the air scoop (2 plastic clips)
Disconnect all hoses and the dpf pressure sensor
Undo the 2 screws highlighted in the attached image, you can get to the left hand one using an angled socket extension through the bonnet latch hole.
Tilt the radiator back towards the engine and then carefully lift it up and out.
