1.6 Puretech 225 GTI REMAP, Questioning EAT8 torque limit.

Hi, i'm currently running on 270hp with stage 1 remap on my 508 GT 1.6 Puretech 225 (non-hybrid).
Looking to get k04 308 GTI turbo and pistons and tune it as its the same block, but i have questions about EAT8, can it handle a powerband around (300-320 hp and 440nm torque) or should i swap it with another trans

Not really. It all depends how you drive the car - doing it like there's no tomorrow, and most of the time, is going to kill it fast - and how you maintain it. As a rule of thumb, at 20% power increase oil change should be done well under 6000 miles and six months, whichever comes first. And NEVER go cheap when is about the oil quality.
Also owner should be more vary about early breakage of intake/turbo/injection elements, due to increase pressure. Take care of these with care and you greatly reduce chances that your engine goes boom suddenly. Is it going to wear faster than a stock engine, that's sure.
