Hi,

My 307 is coming up to 10 years old but has only done 70,000 miles.

Should I get the belt changed?

Cheers

Never been able to get a definitive interval in miles, I've heard anywhere between 90K & 120K BUT the general consensus on age is 10 years max.

If the service interval doesn't indicate it's been recently done then it would be wise to have it replaced sooner rather than later. Many suggest replacing the water pump at the same time. Doesn't add too much extra to the cost of the job but could save a fortune if it failed soon after having the timing belt done as the belt has to come off to replace the pump.
