Hi,

I have problem with my peugeot 307 sw 1.6 hdi 2005 110hp.

When i drive the car and I put it in neutral gear and i press the brake. At that moument the engine speed goes down from araound 800 to 600 RPM.... when i let go the brake my engine speed is back to 800.

I left the car at the service station at the peugeot center. After 2 days later they called me and told me that everyting is OK.

i put the video from Peugeot planet 2000. At 5:00 minutes mark the cars starts having problems...

Hi,

I have problems only on neutral gear+ brake pedal. When i press the clutch RPM goes to normal - around 800
or

When I stop pressing the break, the cycles(RPM) go back up to around 800.

in most jurisdictions, coasting in neutral is frowned upon...

if no faults are reported, one might assume it's just a drivability glitch- the ECU commands different fuel, egr, and timing, for clutch in/out on the overrun.

VW TDIs had a similar issue in the past- they'd shudder in that same scenario.
