I was always under the impression the DMFL was put in there to protect other parts of the engine from the torque outputted, may be wrong, but i'd say it could cause damage else where

Yes I have read so many posts about this I have not been able to work out the best way

The 136bhp 2 ltr seems to be a nono
I think the 90 bhp has a solid flywheel
110 bhp I am sure I read a post the 90 bhp van model clutch is a straight fit

My prime concern with the dual mass is how many miles can I expect from it I have read they sometimes fail before 40k miles

May be wrong, but i'm sure i've read countless posts on here saying Peugeot do a kit to change the dual mass to single...

Peugeot irl do a conversion kit for the 1.6hdi. It works out pretty good.

I have had a solid conversion on my 2.0 110 HDI and still sound 60K miles since fitting
