My Peugeot 207 1.4 VTi has started to drink oil like never before: it uses 1l of oil for every 400 miles.
When I got the car it used to be 1l / 800mi, but it got worse over time. Doing an oil & filter change does not seem to meaningfully impact the oil consumption.
Nevertheless, the car has passed all its MOTs without no problems regarding the emissions tests.
Does anyone else have such high oil consumption problems ? Is it even worth doing an oil change and wasting good oil ? Or maybe I could get away with just a filter change ?
