Hi all,

My girlfriend has a 1.4 307 LX AC and today the traction control light came on when she was turning a corner and stayed on. When it came on the car beeped a couple of times and the light has been on constantly since. I didnt think it would have traction control only being a 1.4 but hey.

Reading up a bit sounds like it could be a ABS sensor at fault.... anyone shed any light on this?

Thanks in advance

Pete

If its an ABS sensor at fault its usually caused by a build up of corrosion around the sensor, a cheap way to sort it is clear all this corrosion and put the sensor back making sure the spacing is correct

Some people prefer to just swap them completely, but its worth trying the cleaning first!

Also you'll have to have it on diagnostics to see which one it is, unless you have a look and see if you can work it out yourself :thumb:

Next time the light comes on get it into a garage and have the codes read, definately something not quite right there!

P.S use an independent garage, not peugeot! :thumb:
