Default Removing 2008 Peugeot gear knob

Hey,

Just as the title says.. Is there any trick to removing it or is it brut force.. I don't want to damage anything.. I've tried twisting anti clockwise but its not moved..

Anybody done this before?? I'm just replacing the gaiter as its torn so want to use the gear knob again.

Cheers! 😀

if its like all the other models then its just brute force. Word of warnin tho, be careful you dont hit yourself in the face as it comes off, there is a bit of weight in them

Haha... Ok will do...

I did read on another site that some peugeot models need to be twisted 45 degrees and pulled up... Have you ever heard that??

i have, but im not sure if that is the 5 speed models. The gear knobs i have removed from 205/206/106/306 and 407 have all been pull till you have a hernia, then pull a bit harder lol
