Default Partner 2010mod 1.6l E-brake problem

So, I drove my car yesterday and when I parked it after moving it I apparently used to much force on the e-brake and it felt like a line snapped or something, it became so easy to move up and down but still holds the car like a champ, the wheels are not locked nor is does it seem to have happened anything in the rear the E-brake just feels easier to move up and down, but I need to lift it alot higher for it to bite. What can this be, anything that needs to be replaced or looked at? (I'm used to drive an old bmw with a HARD e-brake as a daily. so I accidentally used a bit much force on this one)
Answers and help is really appreciated! (sorry for bad English)
