Default Expert van thermostat and heater problems

Had engine managment light on and coolant levels always low, fan was blowing cold air......so had leak fixed from coolant and piston seals replaced, thermostat pipes were badly corroded replaced them but thermostat may still be faulty in housing!

fan is still blowing cold air and temperature gauge fluctuates especially in idle, engine managment light is still on but coolant levels have stayed high and coolant light is out!

Any ideas.. Could it be thermostat is faulty??

Hello mate

I had similar issues and found that a wire had broke on the temperature sensor end and also had fell out of ECU harness.

Once I relocated both back to where they should be, all returned back to normal.

Hope this helps mate
