Default 2006 2.0 hdi kept cutting out now will not start.diagnostics not connecting with ecu

Hi desperate times as van has been off road for 3 weeks and mechanic scratching head.

1. van kept cutting out when driving losing power steering etc. then 20 mins later stop and oil light came on.stopped van then after 30 mins tried again and started with no stop/oil light on, only for light to ruturn back flashing dimly on and off on way to mechanics.not the most enjoyable day!

fuel filter changed-exact same as before

2.snap on diagnostics suggest fuel relay.erg and possibly immobiliser

replaced erg and fuel relay and immobiliser light going off when key turned.

3Since then van wont start ,turns over and fires only with easy start.snap on dignostics could connect with all other bits but not ecu anymore so told needed new one.

replaced ecu with decoded one from ecu doctor and still will not start only turnover exactly same as before

I,d really appreciate some advice or suggestions for peugeot mechanic near tonbridge.i would have asked a peugeot planet person but dont live near one or have enough posts! cheers

Gucci shit gives shit answers

Cannot connect to ecu does not mean ecu faulty !!! as you now know

Does van chime beep whatever to tell you key is in ignition if not then recode key as messing with ecu may well have lost codes !!

Best to use planet for this not because its best but because if you have issues then people on here will know the symptoms

You need to read live data while cranking you need to see fuel pressure cam and crank sync and cranking speed again Gucci does it but planet readings better as we understand them and know what we should be seeing.
