Default 1.6 hdi injectors

hi all i have recently decided to sort out my vans annoying noise once and for all, i have taken off the injectors and have found alot of coke on the shafts making it VERY difficult to remove! in inspection i notice that one was missing the wee ball from inside the valve section, this will not help im sure! also i have put them all through the ultrasound cleaner (see pics) is there anything i should consider when re-placing them? i have new seals and washers etc..... the noise turned out to be my alternator dying! so new alternator and oil and servce parts later i was nearly killed when told it was going to be a further 1000 for 4 new injectors! so i figured with a bit of care and my expensive ultrasonic cleaner id be able to re-condition slightly. any advice would be hugely appreciated!
