Default How much fuel will tank hold ?

How much fuel have you guys managed to get in you cars tank ? I filled mine today, it was low, but the light was not showing on the dash and I put in 64 litres. The manual suggests that it should come on with less than 8 litres in the tank and that the tank hold 69 litres.

I am thinking that the actual capacity is actually over 70 litres ?

Reason for taking it so low was to do brim to brim mpg. Apparently I am getting 47 mpg out of my 1.6 115 hp diesel. Not bad at all.

Hi Yobbo,

the fuel tank is listed as 70litre capacity. I however have worked out it actually holds 72 liters.

That MPG is actually very good for a large car that has the aerodynamics of the average house brick.

My 2l 180hp can only average 38mpg on a good day.
