Default Problem with disappearing replies

I just had a posted reply in the 406 forum disappear right after it showed up. And another post in the same thread that I edited also disappeared a minute later. I edited it because I was unable to reply at all, despite trying 3 times.

A few days back, I was unable to post at all in the Vans forum.

Something weird is going on. Do we have Gremlins?

I'm trying a test reply here, now, just to see if it works.

I've started saving all my posts and replies in txt files just in case

Did you post links to other websites, or pictures, by any chance??

No pics, but a wiki link was in my 406 Forum reply. Are external links forbidden?

In my Boxer post, I included an internal link to my first post in Introductions. Are internal links forbidden?

Links aren't forbidden as such, but being a new member, posts with links in have to be approved by the moderators before they are live. I expect your posts will appear once approved

Ah hah. That might be a bit weird when they do finally show up, as I tried numerous times. Perserverance is a quality, I hope
