Default Peugeot partner loosing water

Hi I have a peugeot partner 1.6 diesel 2008 model. I just had the headgasket replaced and had the head skimmed, but it would not pressurise. The mechanic put some kind of sealant in the engine and then it pressurised but is still loosing water. There is no smoke coming from under the bonnet or any signs water is being lost. Could it be a crack in the block or a steam leak from a pipe ? Please help!!
