Default Paint thickness issue

I just bought a new 3008 crossway and when measuring the paint on the back upper side panels i get a reading of 0.3 mm other panels 1.7mmother o,7mm and i have orange peel allover. Is this normal? Or should i complaint and get it fixed with the paint warranty. I cannot even polish it in the back without removing the varnish!

In order to get a warranty claiming I think you should get some technical sheets from Peugeot where minimum thickness of paint is specified and see if really is there a deviation. Also, measurement equipment you used to get these results should have a calibration report in order to assure reliable data.

With this info I'd try to file up a case with the dealers warranty and see what happens.

cheers,
