Default Non start partner combi escapade 2.0hdi

Hi
Hopefully one of you Pug gurus can help me
My partner has been playing up lately regards starting, i have had both cam & crank sensors replaced with genuine peugeot parts, wiring back to ecu checked, new fuel filter & fuel lines checked but still no start?
Auto electrics guy still getting some kind of cam crank fault & said could be the ecu broken down
Any ideas as really dont want to fork out for an ecu if i dont need to?
Thanx in advance

Trustme
I have read through as suggested & really appreciate you replying
The issue started a while ago when one morning it just wouldnt turn over, I thought i had let the key go too early so tried again but cranked like mad but no start
I had a guy plug it in which showed cam sensor fault which was swapped & it was fine for a couple of days then let me down again exactly the same, told could be air gap slightly off moved sensor & fine again for a while
I have been through 3 cam sensors (lucas) but on the last let down i put a genuine peugeot one on & the mechanic who has it now also put a peugeot crank sensor in too
Originally thought just because i had used after market sensors but obviously something more?

I'm confused would otherwise turn over means click click engine not turning or trying to start but you put spinning like mad and not starting. It can't be both

Could be wiring or sensor fitted incorrect or something damaging sensor

You have not answered my question about the beep

You have not put vehicle year or bhp did you read point 6 on the link

Sorry when i said spinning i mean the starter is doing it thing but no start
I did wonder if pick up ring for cam sensor is dodgy as i hav read they can bend?
Its been at the garage for over a week now & they have told me that the wiring back to ecu has been checked & looks fine & the sensors seem to be communicating which they werent before but the auto electrics guy is still getting a cam crank sensor fault?????

You need LIVE DATA readings for cam and crank sync fuel pressure while cranking and cranking speed post up these readings along with the key beep you have been asked to check then we can advise further.

Hi all, quick update
Well after getting another Auto electrician on the case (Kev in Bromsgrove) he confirmed that water ingress on the loom had started my grief & that the ECU & BSI would need replacing to solve the long unfound problem but even then the loom could still be affected further along so could get the same issue again! She has to go i'm afraid not willing to spend another 300 quid t still have a non starter
Thanks :-)
