Default "New posts" button faulty?

I've logged in this morning after a forum free weekend (last time I was on was Friday evening).

I click NEW POSTS as I normally do, but it only showed 18 threads.

I thought this was rather quiet, so I then clicked "TODAYS POSTS" under QUICK LINKS and it brought up three pages of 54 threads, including this one from just last night:

https://www.peugeotforums.com/forums/...-needed-66273/

I've said a few times when answering an irate poster who's had no replies that I don't think this button is working correctly, I think this is definitely the case.

Ive had the same thing a few times over the last couple of weeks, I assumed it was because i had logged on using Autoguide on my phone so the new posts had been 'seen' on my login, just on my phone but not the pc.

Just checked and using the new posts button there are 33 new posts, but using the quick links and 'todays posts' there are 55 posts.
Does the counter start at midnight for todays posts?? and who's midnight........UK or somewhere else

Definitely something wrong with it. I had to click "Today's posts" again because there were loads not showing after clicking "New posts".

I tried new posts and todays posts and it seems to work as it should for me

The new posts shows things I have not seen or have been posted on since my last visit but todays post shows the whole 24 hour period with new posts first.

Might be if you do log in from more than 1 place as suggested

I've noticed this too. Sometimes when I hit new posts it says no new posts!
