Question how long

I tried to post a couple of new posts on my 'cruise control' thread in 'General Discussion' this morning.

I know that because I am a new member and they have links to an auction site in them they have to be scrutinised by a MOD before they are posted; but how long should that take?

Are MOD's not on duty for much of the time?

Thanks.
Dave.

ok slightly off topic but...
OMG VM are terrible when there are faults I think its due to ageing exchange equipment that they have a policy of not replacing! I can not get cable but my Mothers connection was dropping out 2-3 times a day (Sync Drop outs), the usual fob of's of its your laptop every time she called.

Lucally being ex telco (I use to work on ATM/FR for Energis ) , and a computer geek 10 minutes of me on the phone to support baffling them, got her an engineer on site rewireing and a new modem. Now the connection only drops out once a day =)

thats the same here richtea... by trade im a comms engineer/it specialist/radar technician the list goes on

so 2 minutes on the phone does exactly as you say...i remember one day i rang up and they said it was my laptop, so i said "so that means 2 blackberry's, 2 laptops, 2 computers, 1 xbox, 1 ps3 are all faulty" the indian on the phone then goes its the modem, restart it...so i said no its not its your lines as i did ping tests and packets were dropping off...the best bit she goes onto say shes the technician and i dont know so i informed her im fully cisco qualified and that shut her up...got a technician out the next day who found corroded cables....

to be honest vm broadband are pretty decent, but i prefer sky as a tv broadcaster.

Oh yes when VM's network works it is fantastic.
Ignoring the traffic shaping they do but I can understand that.
