Default Help / scammed? peugeot 407 abs sensor

Advice please, had a mechanic do my mot today on pug 407, I knew abs sensor was needed, rear.

Called to say it needs 2 at front too, plus rear drop link and front cv boot. Gutted, but said do it.

Collected and he takes it for mot retest tomorrow. Part paid pending passing mot etc.

So I've looked at the front wheels, and I deffo don't see any new cables etc. I can see the rear one no prob. And there is 1 empty box in the boot for a sensor.

Would I miss new sensors on the front,? I cam clearly see wires that I be,I've to be the sensors, they are all old. The new one on the back is obvious, it's brand new, clean and shiny.
There is nothing brand new clean and shiny on the front, could I possibly have missed it? I doubt it.

Any advise would be appreciated, I text him to say when he comes to collect it for re test tomorrow, can you show me the 2 front new abs sensors, he said yeah no problem.

Thanks

Are the wires you are looking at Definately the abs sensor wires and not the brake pad wear indicator wires ??, maybe upload a photo and let us look.

It's just all of the wires there, so I think some are abs sensors, I'll try to get a photo. Thanks

Exactly the same, old, dirty, and corroded at the sensor area.

The new on on the rear is clearly brand new, shiny black, and sparkling.

There is only 1 empty box in the boot. :-((

The front ones certainly look like they've not been done.
There's an easy test, if the fault has gone they never needed doing in the first place and it was the rear that has been replaced that was the fault.
Unless he's replaced them with working second hand ones, but it doesn't look like anything has been touched.
