Default 307cc thermostat housing leak

hi I'm new to the forum, I have a problem with my thermostat housing, it has a tiny leak in the plastic bit by the bolt, my question is can I use quiksteel to seal it or will it contaminate the coolant, please can anyone tell me if this will work, I am currently on sick so money is tight, my car is a 307cc 2.0s 2006 , any help would be much appreciated, thank you, kind regards jaki

perhaps as a temporary measure, as long as the sealant is coolant resistant and you let it fully cure before running the engine. i wouldnt want to leave it like that for long though
